I'm still here!

Hey everyone! I feel like I've been out of the blog world for so long. The last time I did a real post was back around Christmas time. I'm back at it again. The past few months have been consumed with internship and grad school, and to tell you the truth, my heart just wasn't in it for a while. I hope to catch up on all I've missed. I also hope to soon give my blog a make over and maybe make it not so anonymous :) I hope you all have been well and that SPRING fever is hitting you hard! I can't tell you how I excited I am for the weather to break. Spring is my favorite time of year...

In the next few months I'm looking forward to:

Graduating with my Masters!

How can you possibly go wrong with Beer, Bourbon, and BBQ?

One of the best days of the year, The Kentucky Derby!

and hopefully trips to:

Annapolis, I love this place...

Charlottesville...one of my most FAVORITE places!

Lexington, Virginia...home of W&L. another one of my favorite towns and one of my most favorite schools (besides UVA).

Charleston. Can you believe I've never been here? I really look forward to going and hope it all works out! I've heard so many wonderful things and there are a few bloggers/twitter girls I want to meet up with there :)

Beaufort, South Carolina...the Rhett House Inn won my heart over and made me want to visit. I would LOVE my house to look like this, it is total perfection!

Savannah...I hope it works out that I go here also...can you tell I love historic towns with lots of charm and history? :)

The Biltmore. I visited here a few summers ago when I was going down to the Carolinas to visit my aunt. It was beautiful, but one of the rainiest day they had in years. We didn't really get a chance to tour the gardens because it monsooned so hard, so I hope to get back and get a chance to see them and tour Asheville a bit

  2. yay! I'm happy you're back!

I loooooove the Biltmore. I went in the dead summer once and no one wanted to go see the gardens. I'd love to in the spring!!

Happy you're graduating too, what a relief! xo

  7. Remember how you asked me WEEKS ago what my other favorite Cville spots were? Well, I sent you a long email response, but then realized your email isn't linked up! If you want my response, shoot me an email at sundressesandsmiles@gmail.com. I'll also be doing a Cville favorites post in the next few weeks!

  8. Congrats on graduating!
For your trip to Annapolis…Boatyard is good but you may want to go to Pussers http://pussersusa.com/locations/annapolis-restaurant you can sit outside by the water and they have great cocktails. The Pink Crab is a must and there is also a Jimmy and Sook (crab logo) store that I haven’t been to yet but want to check out. Have a great weekend! xx
