some things I am in love with...

GRITS brought this foundation to my attention and I am SO glad she did. foundation always gives me a problem. it either doesn't match my fair skin tone (too orangey, too fair, makes my skin too oily, etc.) or if I buy it at Sephora, they do my foundation perfectly in the store and then when I get home, I can't ever recreate the amazing-ness. this stuff is such an amazing texture that I only need a little (too much can make it very cakey) and it isn't oily at all - which I love for summertime! matches my skin perfectly (FAIR FAIR FAIR!), but I try to bronze myself right up afterwards.


my hair is really thick and takes so much from being blow-dried. this makes it soft and silky again...


for all you fair skinned, light haired girls out there like myself. this stuff is amazing. very shimmery, compliments your skintone and brings out your eyes...


liplites in vanilla swirl. cheap and delicious. I have really red lips (everyone asks me what kind of lipstick I'm wearing...) so this is the only thing that I have found that actually tones it down


cute beach read. I just read an article the author wrote in coastal living magazine. I can't wait to read her book

starfish earrings - I love them and want them, badly...they are adorable.


this sucker fits everything and i mean EVERYTHING. everyone knows that if they need something, it is stuffed in this bag. my bag probably weighs as much as a small child...and it doesn't help that I can't ever find A THING in it, but I must say - I wouldn't know what to do without it. I love that it's big enough to throw anything in here...but I don't love trying to find something in here, especially my keys.
