spice it up

When it comes to jewelry, I'm not very daring. In high school I probably wore the same pair of pearl earrings every single day. I was simple (or boring, whichever you'd like to call it) like that. Today, I still find it hard to depart with my beloved pearl earrings. They're like a staple in my wardrobe. BUT...I think it's time that I spice things up a bit...

In my search for earrings to steer me clear of my pearl studs for a while...I came across Stella and Dot and I found these earrings which I fell in LOVE with:


Okay, so I didn't steer that clear of pearls...but I have to have these.

A Michele Deco Watch

I LOVE this watch. Don't love the price tag. I saw this yesterday online and then today while waiting in line at Panera for lunch I spotted the cutest little blonde girl with this watch on. Well, what do ya know? I thought it was a sign. It's super blingy, but I love it. I think I need to settle for another watch (time to break out of my habit by whipping out the 'ol cellphone to get the time), but a gal can certainly dream.

Where are your favorite places to buy jewelry? I sometimes find jewelry at South Moon Under that I love and Etsy also has really beautiful, unique pieces.

    I'm the same way with jewelry--I wear my silver hoops every day! But those first pearl earrings look simple enough that I think I could change it up!

    all soo nice! I am the same about my pearls, mine have a tiny diamond on the bottom which I think make them a tad bit different. My good friend just launched a jewelry line at suzsomer.com. If you're like me you will LOVE. I just got the vermeil and pearl starfish earrings.
