I'm returning!

I've been such a bad blogger. I have SO much catching up to do on here! I know y'all haven't heard from me in a good while...normally even if I'm not posting on my own blog, I'm writing comments on yours, but blogger hasn't been letting me post comments to some of your posts. I think that's all fixed though! I have been reading on here on and off, but I will be going through and reading all the posts that I've missed and y'all will get lots of comments as I catch up on your lives...

I haven't been posting for a few reasons...HERE COME THE EXCUSES: a) Grad classes in the summertime seem to be taking over my life. 12 weeks of information pushed into 6 weeks for two classes is not fun. b) My life is boring and ordinary...and I feel like I have nothing to blog about. Yes, these are my excuses, and not very good ones...because I know you ladies are SUPER busy with babies, work, husbands, boyfriends, jobs, travel, whatever the case may be, but those are my excuses and I'm stickin' to them :)

I need some inspiration and some fresh ideas. I was actually thinking about getting a layout/background/header made...where do y'all get yours? I think maybe that will inspire me to blog more and maybe take my blog in a new direction.

I know a while ago I had an idea for blog posts I was so excited about. I wanted to write about places I wanted to travel to or have been to and loved. I did one blog post on the Rhett House Inn in Beaufort, SC and stopped, so maybe I'll go back to doing that. I guess I can also start posting recipes...not that I cook a lot.. at ALL, but summertime is when I bust out appetizers and desserts for BBQs and parties. I'll admit I'm not so good at actually cooking a meal. Last summer I had so many bridal showers, bachelorette parties, and weddings to attend that I felt like all I did was spend time in the kitchen.

I hope y'all have been doing well and that you had a great 4th of July! Maybe it's just me, but doesn't summer feel like it's just flying by?! Stay tuned for a blog post tonight or tomorrow...
