i'm baaaack!

I thought I'd spring back by finally posting the awards that two wonderful ladies nominated me for!

Charlotte at The Charlotte Observer nominated me for the Honesty Scrap Award! and my gal over at California Born and Virginia Raised nominated me for another award! I'm delighted and so glad that you both thought of me :)



Here are the rules for the Honest Scrap award.....
1) Thank the blogger that gave you award. Thank you Charlotte, I absolutely LOVE your blog and it's one of my FAVORITE ones! I love reading about your husband and your new baby girl and looking at your cute outfits. You are such an amazing and beautiful woman with such a big heart! So glad that I was able to connect with you through the Blog world :)
2) Share 10 things that your blog readers may not know about you. I did one of these before, but I'm not all that interesting - it was hard trying to think of 10 things! Sorry that they aren't interesting! It's all I could come up with right now :)
3) Pass the award onto 7 fellow bloggers (I want ALL to do it, I want to read about you!)
So here are the ten things you might not know about me....
1. I'm in grad school for School Counseling and then hope to become a Licensed Therapist. I feel like I'm meant to do this, but sometimes I get scared that I won't be able to handle the depressing things I'll see everyday.
2. I'm addicted to Entourage and Sex and the City. I could seriously watch these episodes over and over again and not get tired of them at all.
3. I would love to write articles for Southern Living.
5. I always have to have my nails painted...or so it feels like it.
6. I've never been in love :( Sad sad, I know, but I have a habit of picking REAL winners, ha! They are either emotionally unavailable, lay on the "I don't want a girlfriend" line (but seem to have one within a few months, 3 guys have done this to me recently), or those that are TOO into themselves and have a habit of being rude and condescending. I don't really know why these are the ones I attract (well, in a sense I do, but that's a story for a whole other post), but I'm ready for a nice one to come along :)
7. I'm petrified of rats and mice. I can deal with snakes, spiders, etc. (for the most part), but rats and mice just REALLY freak me out.
8. I'm a big football fan (If you already didn't know that!)
9. I'm content with the beach or the mountains. I just love to travel...to any and everywhere.
10. I would love to take ballroom dancing lessons.



I am required to list 5 current obsessions so here goes!

1.) Smart Ones Desserts - Um, maybe I'm the only one who thinks so, but I think they are BEYOND delicious. I know it might seem kind of disgusting or odd to eat a dessert that is frozen and then dethawed in the microwave, but they are SO GOOD! I tend to devour the Strawberry Cheesecake which I recently discovered, the Peanut Butter Sundae Cup, and Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Sundae...I can't get enough. For all of you on WW, try them out...then let me know if I'm the only one who is amazed by them!

2.) Lipgloss - I love it! My friend always makes fun of me and my obsession with putting it on. I really do feel naked without it. I think I'm so obsessed with it because I have REALLY red lips and people always ask me if I'm wearing lipstick, so I'm always self-conscious about it. I always put on lipgloss to tone down the color. I normally just use a cheap-o brand...Bonne Bell Liplites in Vanilla swirl - it does the trick.

3.) Vera Wang Perfume - One of my friends had it and I LOVED the smell. I couldn't fit it in any stores AT ALL so I had to search and search until I came across it on Ebay. It's the Vera Wang Roll on Perfume which is so hard to find (It's not the Princess one, it's a light shimmery pink). I wasn't sure if it smelled like an old lady or not, but I get lots of compliments on it!

4.) Yankee Candle - I love candles in general, especially having candles lit all around my living room. It makes everything so serene and calm. My favorites right now are Pumpkin Spice and Cranberry Chutney.

5.) Lounge Pants - Old Navy black lounge pants are heaven. They are so comfortable! I love to bum around in them. I'm wearing them as I type :)

I'm tagging anyone and everyone who wants to do this! I didn't want to tag anyone in particular because I'm not sure who has already filled these out before - but I want to read everyones responses :)
