quote me!

I've said it before, but I'll say it again...I'm a quote girl! I LOVE them and am always saving them in Word Documents, in emails, even writing them in little books...just to save them. Yes, my quote collecting is almost like a hobby!

So tell me, what are your favorite quotes, favorite sayings, or even poems? Anything you love and that might have meaning to you. I want to know! :)

  3. I love quotes too! This is from my favorite Cory Morrow song

"Take it while it comes cause it don't last long, hesitate and the moments gone, run in the rain and howl at the moon, fall in love way too soon, take my hand as the music starts, and we'll dance to the beat of your heart"

    Kinda sappy...but I love it!

  5. Hmmm, I adore quotes. I also like lyrics. I always think of that Carole King song- Beautiful, when I'm down on myself. But I'd have to go for anything Frost esp The Road Not Taken. "I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—I took the one less traveled by,And that has made all the difference."

  8. Hands down my favorite quote by Eleanor Roosevelt:
Do what you feel in your heart to be right...For you'll be criticized anyway. You'll be damned if you do and damned if you don't.

  9. Two of my all time favorites are the one in my header and this one from Ralph Waldo Emerson, "To laugh often and much; To win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; To earn the appreciation of honest critics and endure the betrayal of false friends; To appreciate beauty, to find the best in others; To leave the world a bit better, whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; To know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded." I have it in a magnet on my desk at work, so inspiring and it grounds me when I'm having a bad day! : >

  10. MBB,

There is a website http://www.quotegarden.com/ that is my fav because it organizes under topics- perfect for gifts or moods. I post a quote of the week, but I think my fav of all time is:

Some luck lies in not getting what you thought you wanted but getting what you have, which once you have got it you may be smart enough to see is what you would have wanted had you known. ~Garrison Keillor
