Ladies! It's been a while! Hope you all are doing wonderfully! I just wanted to do a quick post to find out what your favorite beauty products are! I want to switch things up and try some of the lovely products that you beautiful ladies use. I go through these phases of wanting to switch things up and try new products after being in Ulta or Sephora. I'm always amazed that I can come out with such a small bag in Sephora that seriously burns a hole my wallet. I can't even do my make up well and have NO idea what I'm doing, but I can always blow WAY too much on expensive products. What's extremely frustrating is going into one of those stores and having someone do your make up and have it come out beautifully and then when you get home you can't recreate it! If only I could have my own personal make up artist...that would be FANTASTIC.
What's your favorite foundation, concealer, blush, bronzer, mascara, eyeshadow, eye pencil, etc? What are your favorite shampoos/conditioners, etc? What are your favorite products, any kind of products, in general? Also, if you have any recommendations for a fair skinned, blue eyed, blonde like myself with picking colors for make up please shoot them this way. I know some blogs I read are written by ladies who do make up :)
I love urban decay eyeliner in gunmetal. Pretty much all my eye products are urban decay. On my face I wear bare minerals because I have rosacea.
ReplyDeleteI love love love all things by MAC. I use their foundation, Paint Pot (concealer and eyeliner base stuff... I misuse it for about 25 different things), blot powder and for blush, I use a total cheap-o brand.. NYC (like $1.50!) because it is the only thing that doesn't rub off. For eyeliner and mascara I get whatever is on sale... I swear it is all the same. The thing lately that I found that I LOVE is Philosophy Body Wash and Perfumed Firming Body Emulsion (lotion) in Amazing Grace. Seriously the best smelling stuff I have ever had.

I'm a clinique girl...always have been and probably always will. But I do try other things from time to time..currently I am using:

Eye shadow - right now is from physicians formula...it's ok
cover girl - mascara (I buy whatever is on sale)
lancome - eye pencil
chapstick...
Laura Mercer ANYTHING. My summer face is LM tinted moisturizer, LM creme eyeshadow in a light champgney color, LM smudge eyeliner, and, of course, my trusty Diorshow Iconic mascara! Maybe a sweep of bronzer (I like Dior bronzer) if I haven't spent the day in the sun and good to go! Oh, oh and a Shu Uemura eyelash curler is essential.
ReplyDeleteI use Matrix shampoo and conditioner and anything Philosophy in the shower, right now I'm loving the bubblegum body wash! But my all time favorite is their Coconut scrub - use it everyday!
