18 things...

Ladies ladies ladies! How have you all been? I'll admit I've been MIA because my life isn't all that interesting to blog about...but let me see...what's been new with me...well, nothing at all really. I've been addicted to Pandora (REALLY AMAZING - It's been John Mayer, Coldplay, Tristan Prettyman, etc. non-stop). I've had a new guy in my life, and then that kind of ended (they all do...what a shame, suprisingly this time it wasn't my fault. Story of my life) and I'm gearing up to go away to Upstate New York at the end of next week.

I wanted to write my 10 things that Preppy Pink Crab tagged me in a while ago. It was hard considering I have no idea of 10 things that are even remotely interesting about me.

1. I save everything. I still have papers/assignments from college in my den cabinets (ok, I only graduated a year ago, cut me some slack!). I save football tickets, cards, movie tickets (sometimes), stickers from places I've been....I don't know. Just hanging onto them as momentos. I have some stuck to a memory board that's currently in my den closet since I thought it could be tacky to hang it, and some in a big box in my den.

2. I'm an only child. It has it's perks, but I always think about what life would be like with a sibling. An older brother...a protector...or a little sister or brother, that I could watch over. I don't have the "only child syndrome" though. Spoiled a bit, but NOT a brat. at all.

3. I love to grocery shop, especially my late at night grocery shopping. Hardly anyone is in the store and it's just easy cruisin' through the aisles. Another perk is my late night conversations with the cashiers.

4. Okay, this one is kind of embarrasing, but I sleep with blankets I have from childhood. I'm 23, and I figured, and my parents figured as well, that you know, I'd grow out of it. Nope. Don't judge.

5. I'd like to see myself as a person that isn't really judgmental (ok, I guess I can be sometimes...depending on what it is/the situation) and I can't stand mean, rude, inconsiderate, or people who think they are better than others. It really upsets me.

6. I was voted preppiest girl out of my senior class in high school.

7. I'm a quote/lyric queen. I love words. I love movie quotes, book quotes, song lyrics, they sum up every feeling and situation about life. I'm a very reflective person, so sometimes these sum up just what I'm feeling at the moment or wish I could say.

8. I'd love to be in a movie or write a book, or two, or three...I already have some ideas. I just don't have the patience to keep writing and writing on the same topic or make it even the least bit cohesive. I'm all over the place.

9. I'm very close to my family and sometimes find I'd rather hang out with them then some of my friends. Does that make me officially lame? They're easy to travel with - they do what you want with no arguments, anything seems to always go, and they don't get moody.

10. I wear flipflops pretty much all the time.

11. I have to take a shower in the morning before I go out. Have to, have to, have to. No have a shower the night before stuff for me.

12. I really love U.S. History and I love traveling to historic places.

13. I'm mildy OCD when it comes to making sure things are turned off before I leave the house. When I say mildly, I mean it takes me a REALLY long time to convince myself that everything is turned off...

14. I can't let go of anything and I get attached way too easily. Working on this though...I think I may be making some improvements. Keeping my guard up a bit more...

15. Stubble on a man's face is sexy. I don't mean a beard or mustache, but just some stubble where they didn't shave.

16. I can't watch anything medical on TV that involves surgery or blood, at all. Makes me nauseous.

17. I'm probably one of the only girls that isn't big on celebrity gossip, weird, right? I just don't really care what they do, WHO they do, where they go to rehab, what they DO or don't eat. Some are hot messes.

18. I'm really looking forward to being a mom one day. Nothing like having a huge family to surround yourself with at the holidays.

Instead of tagging just 10 people, I want all of those who read this and WANT to do this, to do it. I want to read all about you ladies :) Have a great Wednesday night, I'm off to make myself a glass of Sangria!
