Life without a credit card has been ROUGH. I never realized how much I truly depended on it. About a week ago, someone stole my number and had charged a college sports network on it...a lousy 20 bucks. It had happened once before where someone in Tampa was charging gas to it. So now I have been without a credit card for a week and have been going absolutely stir crazy. I swipped that bugger like crazy all the time. Something online I wanted to buy? SWIPE! Sephora? SWIPE! Wegmans? SWIPE! TJ Maxx - SWIPE! Homegoods - SWIPE! I have so many things I need to buy that I don't want to keep taking money out for...bachelorette party and wedding gifts. Ugh. Why does it take a week for a new card to come?!
Ok...onto other things after my rant:
I had a great birthday yesterday. I had a birthday dinner with my family at this little hole in the wall place with the BEST BBQ/ribs and crabcakes...even Baltimore Magazine recognizes it's amazingness. It's funny how the places that seem to be little hole in the wall places end up having the best food. The BBQ is right up there next to Bubbas BBQ in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. I.love.that.place. Afterwards, a good friend of mine and her boyfriend took me out for drinks. On top of all the birthday things, I feel myself getting sick. I've had a sore throat for a few days and it feels as if something is swollen in my throat. My ears also hurt. Just lovely! I have a bachelorette party this Friday and then a wedding next Friday to be in...I just hope I don't get full blown sick. I have to give a toast...I need a voice! Pray for that!
I apologize for the rant...I'm just in a miserable mood today. Hopefully tomorrow will be better :) I hope you all are having a great day though!

happy belated birthday!!! And I totally agree how annoying it is to be without a card. I had my wallet stolen a year ago and to cancel all credit cards and my debit card. It's a wonder I didn't starve to death before one came!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had a great birthday!!! :)
ReplyDelete"and they didnt even need money, because they had magic cards!" i use my credit card like its going out of style.. if only the bill would get sent to someone else's house!
